Belize
Our Belize Marine Ecology Program offers an incredible opportunity for students to explore the Belize Barrier Reef System, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the second largest barrier reef in the world under the guidance of local biologists. Through in-water (snorkeling) and top-water hands-on learning experiences, students work as biologists conducting coral reef and marine wildlife surveys. This immersive student travel itinerary balances unique educational opportunities with stunning tropical views and a wide diversity of sea life including tropical fish, rays, dolphins, manatees, and sea turtles. As a bonus, take advantage of being in the heart of ancient Mayan culture and learn from local guides about the fascinating archaeological sites.
