It’s no surprise that our team is passionate about travel, and many of our own student travel experiences inspire our work today. Our Minneapolis-based Education Program Specialist, Josh, is no exception! 

His favorite travel memory is his NYC high school senior trip. This bucket list trip offered the benefit of experiencing all of the top tourist attractions with his classmates. And now Josh gets to help make those same unforgettable trips happen for students in Minneapolis and beyond at Global Travel Alliance. 

To Josh, student travel is important because “it is an opportunity for students to learn in a different and fun environment with their teachers and classmates. Student group trips allow for students to become more engaged as US citizens, open their eyes to new environments, and experience cultures beyond their hometown.”

When he isn’t partnering with educators on their custom educational travel itineraries, Josh enjoys spending time with his fiance and their two dogs. If you bump into him in Minneapolis on a hiking trail, golfing, or hanging out with friends and family, be sure to say hello!
